Questions

1. Anime is a style of Japanese film and television animation, typically aimed at adults as well as children. Magna are Japanese comics. So anime is a film while magna is comic books or novels.

2. A graphic novel is a fictional story that is presented in comic-strip format and published as a book. While a comic book is a magazine containing sequences of comic strips —usually hyphenated in attributive use. So the Graphic novels are usually longer and more complex then comic books.

3. In comic books panels have any design or layout the artist wants, while the same for graphic novels the panel sizes have a wider variety and so do the shapes. Newspapers usually stick to multiple rows with the same size panels.

Comic strip

The past few days we have been working on making our own comics so I made one of my own characters called Teddy, which is a bear. Along with 3 peas in a pod. In this comic one of the peas gets lost in the woods, Teddy is also in the woods at the same time. Teddy is hungry and finds the pea so he takes a bite from it. Then the other two peas show up and Teddy lets the bitten pea go. The end will say "That was a beary bad ending." ;)

Photoshop

Today in AOIT Art 1 we used photoshop
to create a picture of us and a cartoon. I used characters from Tangled to make it look like we were all together sliding down Rapunzelle's hair in Paris. I used multiple tools from Photoshop to edit out the background of the picture of me and the one from Tangled. All together it was a challenging project but also fun.
